Planter and Fishing Stuff

 Faithful cats, here's what we're delivering to our humble little booth B309 at Valley Antiques tomorrow evening. This beautiful vintage wicker planter box will be there. - $60 SOLD!
 Lined with tin. They just don't make 'em like that anymore.

 This cute minnow pail is $20.
 As is the minnow trap that comes with a manly chain. SOLD!
Here's an upside down photo of my thumb with a brass spring scale for weighing the big fish you caught. - $10.
 We also have some swell old bottles. I'll try to post better pics later. They will be priced from $3-$5 a pop.

School Map & Oh - So Much More

 Just added to our booth today: This fantastic Ontario school map of the world. These were distributed by Neilson's Dairy free to schools in exchange for the chocolate bar advertising covering the map. Why think of continents when you can dream of chocolate?

 Our endless stash of typesetter's trays has come to an end for now. This one is - $60. SOLD!
 We just added this super cute and very rare Noma children's night light. It still works. I cannot find any information about Noma lights of this type. It won't last long. - $40



 Speaking of lights, we still have the cool mod lamp available in our booth, along with the mid-century gooseneck lamp (below) SOLD!, and the totally seventies articulated lamp at the bottom of this posting.

Our Usual Hodge-Podge

 Today we added: two packs of vintage Christmas tree ornaments $7 each. Dig the original boxes! SOLD!
 This big medical canister $12. SOLD!!
 We took numerous pieces of heavy duty hardwood baseboard to the back right-hand corner of Valley Antiques. The largest pieces are $9 and the shorter ones are only $4. These are great prices as original baseboard is hard to find. If you know anyone looking for this, spread the word. Some have sold, but a few pieces still left. 

 These five spindles are $10 and we have some door/window trim in our booth B309. Each of the two pieces are $20.

Mr. Mugs Poster


If you're of a particular vintage, you'll remember (and love) the Mr. Mugs readers from school. We are selling this circa 1969 framed Mr. Mugs teaching poster in our booth B309 at Valley Antiques for $35. The poster is 24" X 18". Get it before it's gone! SOLD!

London Toy Company Cars & More

 Now in our booth B309, you'll find these well worn, well loved die cast cars and trains from the fifites. The cars and trains were made by the Canadian London Toy Company. The cement mixer is $20 SOLD!, cars are $15 and the trains $8 each. The rubber wheels are still on the cars and truck.
This is an old Fisher-Price duck pull toy - $40. Get quackin' and shop, shop, shop! SOLD!

 I'm not quite sure about the meaning of these "bug juice" bottles, but they're old and neato. -$5 each.

 Super cool industrial Westinghouse Cozy Heater - $60 SOLD!
 This heater has been fitted with a new cord. The heater works well, but it's very old and it is recommended that it be used more as a decorative piece.
